Description
Brian Arkins is a Professor Emeritus of Classics at NUI, Galway. He was educated at Clongowes Wood College and at University College Dublin, where he obtained an M.A. in Classics and a Ph.D in Latin. He is the author of 12 books of criticism. These include Sexuality in Catullus, the Thought of W.B. Yeats and, most recently, Death and Marriage: Greek and Roman Drama.
